After personally installing hundreds of hard tops on customer vehicles, and continuing to do so every week at our shop in Katy, TX, we created the TST Hardtops collection: a curated lineup we’d confidently put on our own vehicles.

What Customers Say
The TST Hardtop is a great top. I’ve owned 3 Jeeps in my life and purchased hardtops for all — this one is the very best. Solid construction, easy to install, great interior finish that is 100% better than the factory model, and they were one of the few that offered me the option of clear glass. I’m elderly and needed a clear view. As a retired professional engineer, I can tell you that this is a quality product.
Philip Nichols West Valley City, UT
Purchased this 2-piece TST Hardtop to be able to still enjoy the open air. I really like this top! I like the way it makes my Jeep look too. It’s easy to install, easy to remove, and is so much quieter inside while driving. The insulation makes a big difference. The 2 pieces seal up nice and tight for a waterproof seal. Also makes getting in and out of the cargo area much easier. Need the convenience of a hardtop and still want fresh air and sun? This is the top you need!
Tim Parker Charlotte, NC
We bought a TST hardtop for our Jeep JK 2-door, and it was absolutely a pleasure dealing with Nathan. From the first time we talked all the way through the installation, all concerns and questions were answered promptly. The top fit great and looks amazing — it’s been on the Jeep 3 or 4 months with no issues! I highly recommend Nathan and his team at Top Swap Texas.

We Didn’t Start Out Selling Hard Tops. We Started Out Swapping Them.
For years, customers came to our shop in Katy looking for a factory hard top — trading one style for another, replacing a cracked shell, or finally ditching a soft top for good. The conversation was almost always the same.

“I’ve been looking for weeks.”

“Everything on Marketplace is either gone or damaged.”

“Craigslist is a mess.”

“Nobody has the one I need.”

The demand for factory-original hard tops has always outweighed the supply. Good ones get snapped up fast, and the ones still sitting around are usually sitting around for a reason.
So we built something better. TST Hardtops is a curated lineup of premium fiberglass hard tops we’ve personally installed, inspected, and stand behind — hundreds of them, on customer vehicles, and we still install them every week at our shop in Katy, TX.
Because we install these ourselves, we know the details that actually matter: how they fit, how they seal, how they ship, how long they take to install, and which aftermarket accessories can cause headaches. That’s not something you get from a warehouse that only ships boxes.
Built By People Who Actually Install Them
Curated Through Experience
Every hard top in this lineup earned its spot. We don’t add a model because it’s available — we add it because it’s one we’d confidently bolt onto our own Jeep or Bronco. That standard comes from installing hundreds of these ourselves, not from a spec sheet.
A Quieter, More Comfortable Ride
An insulated, carpeted headliner and tight weather seals cut road and wind noise and help your AC and heater work the way they’re supposed to. Customers consistently tell us the difference over a soft top is bigger than they expected.
Premium Construction
Hand-laid fiberglass shell, UV-resistant gel coat, DOT-approved safety glass, and quality hardware throughout. We’ll walk you through the differences in finish and construction so you know exactly what you’re buying — not just what it looks like in a photo.
No Extra Trips to the Hardware Store
Every TST Hardtop ships with everything required to install it — mounting hardware, nuts and bolts, and the seals that are part of the hard top itself. (Your Jeep or Bronco already has body-mounted seals, like the ones around your doors, that work with any top you run.) There’s nothing else to source before you start.

Four profiles, one fiberglass shell
1
TST Hardtops Square-Back hard top
Square-Back

Classic, squared-off styling with maximum cargo room and headroom — the clean, factory-original silhouette.

2
TST Hardtops fastback hard top shell
Fastback

A sloped rear roofline improves rear visibility and cuts wind noise at highway speed, with a sportier stance.

3
TST Hardtops Safari hard top shell
Safari

Extra venting and visibility for an open-air feel on the trail, while keeping full hard top protection and security.

4
TST Hardtops Sentry hard top shell
Sentry

Added structural reinforcement for extra security — built for owners who store gear inside or park in higher-traffic areas.

Not every profile is available for every generation. Once you select your model, you’ll see exactly which styles fit your Jeep or Bronco.
1-Piece or 2-Piece: which is right for your Jeep?
One solid shell
1-Piece
  • One solid shell — no seam where a front panel meets the main body, and nothing that can rattle loose over time
  • Fewer parts to align and hardware to manage on install
  • Available in Square-Back, Safari, or Sentry depending on your vehicle
Best for set-it-and-forget-it security
Modular sections
2-Piece
  • Pull the front targa panel off solo — no ladder, no lift, no calling a buddy
  • Rear panel stays on, so your Jeep stays secure while you run open-air
  • Store just the piece you've removed instead of an entire shell
Best for solo open-air access
VS
Every layout — 1-piece or 2-piece — uses the same fiberglass shell, UV-resistant gel coat, and factory-tinted safety glass. Worth knowing: removing the rear section of a 2-piece top, or a 1-piece shell, still takes a hoist or a second set of hands. The 2-piece’s real advantage is that front panel — that’s the one piece you can pull by yourself.
Shipping Shouldn’t Be the Scary Part
Hard tops are big, and ordering one online can feel like a leap of faith. We’ve shipped hundreds of them nationwide, and we’ve built a process around making that leap smaller.
  • Professionally crated and shipped via reputable national freight carriers
  • Fully insured — the cost is built into your price, so there’s no surprise freight charge at checkout
  • Delivered by a box truck with a liftgate, straight to your home or business
  • The freight carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery appointment
  • Tracking provided once your top ships
Damaged on arrival?
Before you sign for delivery, take a quick look for obvious damage. If something’s wrong, simply refuse the shipment — it goes back to us, and we send a replacement. No claims process for you to manage. This is rare, but if it happens, you’re covered.
Prefer to pick up?
Prefer to skip freight altogether? Pick up directly at our shop — 1260 FM 1463, Suite 700, Katy, TX 77494 — and check fitment before you even leave the lot. Picking up locally also means you can trade in your current top on the spot — something we generally can’t offer on shipped orders, since freighting a trade-in back to us usually isn’t cost-effective.
Fitment note
We often get questions about fitment around aftermarket accessories — bumpers, roll cages, and the like. If you’re not sure, send us a photo before you order. Because we install these tops ourselves every week, we can usually tell you right away whether it’ll be an issue.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it include all the hardware I need to install it?
Yes. Every hard top ships with the required mounting hardware — nuts, bolts, everything — included.
Does it come with seals and gaskets?
Yes, everywhere the hard top itself needs one. Your Jeep or Bronco also already has body-mounted seals — the rubber gasket around your driver’s door, for example — that work with whatever top you’re running.
How long does shipping take?
Most hard tops leave our Katy, TX facility within two weeks, and many ship sooner since most are in stock. Transit is typically 2–3 business days for most of the country, 5–6 business days for more remote areas.
What if it arrives damaged?
Give it a quick look before you accept delivery. If there’s obvious freight damage, refuse the shipment — it comes back to us, we file the claim, and we send a replacement. It’s rare, but if it happens, you’re covered.
Can I install it myself?
Most customers do, in under an hour. You’ll need basic hand tools and two people (three makes it easier) to lift the top into place. It mounts to factory points — no cutting, drilling, or modification to your vehicle.
Will it fit with my aftermarket accessories?
Most common accessories aren’t an issue. Aftermarket roll cages occasionally are — sometimes not. If you’re unsure, send us a photo before you order and we’ll tell you what to expect.
Can I pick it up instead of having it shipped?
Yes — pick up directly at our shop at 1260 FM 1463, Suite 700, Katy, TX 77494, and check fitment before you leave.
What tools do I need?
Basic hand tools. Nothing specialized.
How heavy is it?
Roughly 150 pounds, depending on profile and model.
What color is it?
Black is the standard finish across the TST Hardtops line. Select models are also available in additional colors — you’ll see those options on the specific product page for your vehicle.
Is the glass DOT approved? What’s the tint?
Yes — DOT-approved, tempered safety glass on every hard top. Tint is 31% (20% on select Bronco models).
How much quieter is it than a soft top?
Customers consistently tell us it’s a bigger difference than they expected — enhanced insulation and a carpeted, water-resistant headliner cut road and wind noise noticeably, and your AC and heater will run more efficiently too.
Do I need to drill or cut anything on my Jeep or Bronco?
No. Every hard top uses factory mounting points. No cutting, drilling, or fabrication required.
Which profile fits my vehicle — Square-Back, Fastback, Safari, or Sentry?
It depends on your generation and door count. Select your model and you’ll see exactly which profiles are available for your vehicle.
Do you take trade-ins on my current top?
Yes, if you’re picking up your new hard top locally at our Katy, TX shop — we can trade in your current top on the spot. If your hard top is shipping to you, we generally can’t accept a trade-in on that order, since freighting a top back to us usually costs more than it’s worth.
We Don’t Just Sell Hard Tops. We Install Them.

We’re not a warehouse shipping boxes, and we’re not a marketplace connecting strangers. We’re Jeep and Bronco owners who built a business around tops — swapping them, installing them, shipping them, and answering the same questions from customers for years.

We’ve personally installed hundreds of hard tops on customer vehicles, and we still do it every week in our Katy, TX shop. That’s the experience behind every top in this lineup, every answer to your questions, and every box we pack for shipping.

When you order from Top Swap Texas, you’re not buying from a script. You’re buying from the shop that installs these things for a living.
